Soon I will be purchasing new tire for my Rancher. The cost between ITP & Douglas .190 rims is only $5.

Are these rims basically the same or is one a little better than the other?

thanks

I've always run Red Labels. The only info I have on ITP's is the finish isn't supposed to be as good or last as long as Red Labels. Iread that opinion somewhere & have no idea as to it's veracity.

I have seen both wheels. To me they seemed to be the same. In my opinion, I would just get what brand name you prefer. Both are good quality.

Douglas rims for the DS650 are weak. I might try ITP next time.

I have the 190 rolled edge series from ITP. Stay away from the 190's your stock rims are stronger. I have bent one front and one rear, Both bent in the center hub.

ScoobyDFW do you have bilet centers?

Was thinking my next rims might be Douglas with the bilet centers.

I can't warn you enough. ITP 190's should be discontinued!!! Center hub thickness of ITP is only 2/3's of stock Honda rim, And has no bushings to streanthen it>

None of them, Douglas or ITP, are as strong as the stock Honda wheels. The strongest of the bunch are the stock wheels that came on the 86 & 87 TRX250R followed by the 88 & 89 model year. The billet wheel from Douglas does not bend in the center hub but rather they just break out altogether.

I have ITP T-9 Edge rims on my Sport. They are very light and very strong. I'm very surprised I haven't bent one yet, I ride hard and they've held up nicely.
