You can only ride between 11am and 2pm during hunting hours statewide.

Went riding today at the trails. Didn't know about the restrictions. Looked thru some dnr pamplets and couldn't find anything saying we couldn't. Met a couple of other riders around 3pm. Seen alot of deer hunters and downed trees. The little manistee trail was awesome. I'm going to do some more checking. I do not want a mad gun carrying hunter putting me in the crosshairs. We did see a dnr flatbed cruising the trails.

This is from the hunting and trapping guide issued with a hunting license.

"It is illegal to operate an ORV or snowmobile between the hours of 7 to 11am and 2 to 5pm on any area open to public hunting during the November 15-30 firearm deer season."

EXCEPTIONS; "The time restrictions on the use of ORV's and snowmobiles do not apply during an emergency or while traveling to and from a permanent residence or hunting camp that is otherwise inaccessable by a conventional wheeled vehicle."

The level of enforcement may vary throughout the state but that is the law as printed. The same information is printed in the Offroad Vehicle Guide under the heading "OTHER OPERATION REGULATIONS"

Hope this helps you guys out......
