Does anyone have or know where I can get a good tire groover so I can groove my own turf tamers?

Go to a hardware store and get a set of ChannelLock end cutter pliers in about a 14" version. They work 10 times better than the groover like Nac's sells at about a fifth the cost.

I went to Sears and picked up a pair of Channel Locks. They have a blue handle and were less than $15. They worked great.

I have a tire groover from back in my stock car racing days which works great and saves on the hands. If you looked in a Circle Track or Stock Car Racing magazine, I'm sure you could find one through a supplier... I just looked, and Day Motorsports in Tyler, TX sells them for 54.95. 1-800-543-6238 if you're interested. Mine works great! (it took me about 45 minutes to do 2 turf tamers for ice racing...)
