Default Fulmer Helmets

Anyone have any experience with these helmets? I saw one yesterday that I just loved (chrome and blue, snap-in cool liner, etc) but I have never heard of Fulmer so I didn't buy it....

Anyone have anything to say about them?

I don't need a helmet but it's never a bad thing to have another.

My wife has one. It looks sharp and the price was right. She has had no problems with it, I like it better than my Oneal.

mine and the kids are both fulmer. they where cheap and seem to do the job. (i have yet to fall on my head though). is the one you are talking about chrome with flames. the flames are blue with white stars and red and white stripes on the bottom. that is the one i got. it has the snap in liner. i bought it because it reminded me of evil knievel.(sp) plus the fulmer helmets where 30% off.

What are they rated? Now that I have to buy two new ones, I'm looking for a Snell 2000/ DOT rating.

Those Fulmer helmets are very good for the money, I bought 2 of them and so far they are ok. A friend of mine said that the Fulmer brand was the Cadillac back sometime ago in the Helmet business, and that I should have no problems with thier products. That's about all I know about them.

Great helmet, great price, looks good, feels good, no complaints. I have one, my cousin has one, and two of my friends have one. All the same model. AF-XR. Its always done good keepin my head right. Only thing ever had wrong with it was the screw on the side falling out that held the visor in place, but it was my fault for messin with it and not puttin it on tight, but I went back to the shop and they give me 2 new ones for free.
I was out 2 wheeling and just messin around in general and hit a patch of grass and got thrown off and ended up on my head, only scratched the back of my helmet a little. Didnt get hurt at all, at it was a rough landing. I had a branch about 1.5" thick whack me in the side of the head, didnt do nothing but scare me a lil bit. It was a bit noisy, but hey, its tree branch, not a pillow. Ive taken it apart many many times to give it a thourough cleaning after some extremely muddy riding, and lemme tell ya, it looks as good now as it did when I bought it 2 1/2 years ago. I paid about 130 for mine. If you find it for about 100-110, id get another one. Like you said, it doesnt hurt to have 2.
