Thanks, checked out you site, but from what I gathered, you guys put the camcorder on the quad/helmut, and I think I will want a little more protection than that.

Right now, I plan on using a camel back (one with a pouch under the water). I have a waist pack with 2 compartments that I can put the camcorder and battery in. Then, I will wrap the waist pack in something like bubble wrap (not like it is going to help if I bite it, but for nomal movement it should help) and then put it in the camel back. The best soolution that I can come up with for now (unless someone has other ideas!).

Anth, I do plan on making movies with it. I made some this past season (I don't have enough web space to host them, yet) and they turned out awsome, but I missed so much because everytime I wanted to get something, I had to stop, get the camcorder out, and shoot.

I've tried a whole bunch, but I like Vegas 4.0 the best. I also use their SW for DVD burning, but I'm not to fond of that.
