Anyone got one? Experience with one? I am ready to buy one and have it pretty much narrowed down to 2 different ones. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I was looking at 5 of them: BulletCam, JonesCam, VioSport, SportZShots, HemlutCamera.com.

By the time I was done with the options I want (mounts, rechargeable battery, LANC), the price was basically the same, $390-$410. They all use the same camera itself (Sony, 480 resolution), so I was wondering more about battery problems, mic problems, or LANC problems.

I must say, each one of them have so kick a$$ clips on their site!

I'm sure an email or phone call to WV Outback will get you some good info/answers. They take videos of the tours they take people on....

Here are the links:

JonesCam
BulletCam
VioSport
SportZShots
HelmutCamera.com

Yeah, I've been writing to people (demo videos on the sites) to try and get more information. Now, I'm really interested in seeing how people protect their camcorder. How they carry it, make sure dirst and water don't get into it, run all the connections, etc.

I have a feeling that I am just gonna go get one and start screwing around with it.

I have shot and edited action video for almost 7yrs and have used some helmet cams. A friend of mine has the Viosport cam and I borrowed one that I have no idea what it was. The viosport cam really had very good video quality, not great but good for a lens that size. It seems to have a really good and easy to use package. I carried my camera in a backpack wrapped in a zip lock bag with the wires pulled through a hole in the bottom of the bag. The other one I used had problems, the battery pack had an open in one of the connections and worked intermittently and the video quality was not very good.
