O.T. I'm stressed!!!
Well, I work in broadcasting so there are only a limited number of jobs, unless your a account executive(AKA Sales person). Since I work in the #2 Market in the country, people trying to get into the biz are always around, so jobs don't stay open for very long. I never even thought about working in this field when I was in school, it was supposed to be just a part time job to pay the bills. But then the money got better so I stuck around. But now I'm thinking I want to get out. I feel trapped here, it kind of feels like a prison, especially on a beautiful day like today. I guess I hate being stuck indoors all day. I think I'm gonna make a change soon.

yeah man go for it, find something better if you really want to. I hate being indoors too, plus we work in a basement which doesn't have much for lighting....today is a beautiful day here(about 33 degree's lol), no wind no clouds...pure sun. i thought about getting a more out doors job maybe something in construction. the money is good but with my luck we'd have another 90+ degree summer. is the cost of living a lot out there in la? I should just move lol...the IT dept doesnt pay **** around here

Yea, its pretty expensive to live out here. You need to make at least 10-15 dollars an hour to get by okay. I'm acutally thinking about construction too. My brothers are both electricians in the union out here and have been trying to convince me to get in with them. I think I'm gonna do it. They each make about 30 an hour and they are always working. I'm gonna decide really soon.

OK...well try this one on for size...you know when it's 100+ degrees outside and your stuck in traffic with your AC cranking and some A$$ hole construction worker is out in the middle of the highway laying concrete....yep thats me....I live in the midwest and not only does it average 90+ degrees july-august but our humidity usally don't drop passed 85% and for some reason those are the day's we work over time......and before you say well during the winter it's not that bad, BS..during the winter it's to cold for concrete so we lay pipe and no not storm sewers I'm talkin sanitary laterals "$h!t pipes" knee deep in the whole subdivisions dinner.......even at $25.73hr I threaten to quit about 20 times a year......
