I have a 2000 Prairie 400 4x4. I went to a harbor freight tool store today and bought a winch(Chicago Tool brand with 2 yr. free replacement warranty) for $160. I am looking for winch mounts but am not too thrilled with the "stock" type available. Would it restrict the air flow to my radiator too much to mount it higher than the bottom of the radiator which is where it would be with the normal mounts. Note: no thermostat in mine if that influences any thoughts on this. Any pics of custom mounts for this or similar ATV's would be appreciated.
