Thought it was interesting. My daughter told me about a website, pirate4x4.com, where a friend of theirs had posted pics of her new rock buggy on its maiden voyage on the Upper Hellarado trail in Moab, UT. When I went to look, it surprised me that the post in about 5 days had over 3500 people look at it. I thought that was a lot of views for such a short time.
That was the first forum I have been in besides a few of these ATV forums.

So!!! You found your way to the dark side, as pirate is known. If you're into rock crawling that is the ultimate. They also have been trying to start an atv forum at pirate atv but Lance, the owner of both sites, doesn't seem to be having any luck breathing any life into it. Sometime you need to stick to what you know best.

We four wheeled for years. The truck has a detroit locker (instlled in 1987) in the rear and a Ford Trak-Lok in the front (1981). Been a lot of places in Colorado and Utah. Jeep safari's and everything inbetween. We have been four wheeling only a few times since we bought our ATV's. They are TOO MUCH FUN!
My daughter and son-in-law are into rock crawling big time. They are going to St. George UT this week to enter their new rock buggy in a competition. My daughter is going to take over their Jeep and enter in womens competition. She took their Jeep through the Rubicon (from the end to the beginning) with a busted front driveline, she only needed help in one spot. She is 21 and weighs in at about 105 pounds. The Jeep is a manual trans and she has to sit on pillows because the seats are welded into place. She loves it too.
OH well, back to the ATV's.
Just a note; He who dies with the most worn out toys, wins.
