Will an ATV fit into the back of an S-10?

i had a short box 94 s10 and it would fit my raptor or my rancher in the back with the gate closed. Just took a little coaxing. my cousin has a 95 ranger shortbox that will not fit the rancher with the gate closed. both have bedliners.
you might be really pushing it with a crew cab s10. they have a very short box length. about 5'5" i think. you will have to tie it down well, as the front tires will probably be resting on the wheel wells.

Geez, I think my Ranger will fit in the back of your F-350.

I had an S-10 ZR2 and my Raptor would fit in the back if you went over the wheel wells.
The biggest thing i didn't like is doing this a lot you have to be careful i found the wheel wells are kinda easy to dent in.
I never tried putting my Polaris in the back but i'm thinking with it's floor boards it would not fit but if it did it would have been really tight.

Since I added my Oxlite front bumper on my Kodiak 450, I know it will not fit now, I will have to test out soon and see where the back tires end up on the tailgate,,If not I'll throw it in the dodge...

I have to agree with Bing - most quads will fit in most pickups. I frequently carry my Polaris Scramblers in my '94 Toyota. Use 4X4 mode to crawl over the fender wells. enough room behind the quad between the back wheels for a toolbox with the tailgate closed. Floorboards clear fenders by a couple of inches. Fits so snug that I dont even tie it down. Gas cans have to sit on the Scrambler floorboards.

His truck isnt most pickups. Its a crew cab s10 with a 55.2 inch long box w/o gate. The suzuki eiger is 85.6 in long. Add about 17 inches of gate hieght. You are still looking at only 75 inches, 10 short. Now wheelbase on the eiger is 50 inches, so maybe you can squeeze the rear tires on to the gate, but it wouldnt be anything I would want to travel at high speeds or long distances with. Buy a rack that fits in your reciever and put the rear tires on it, or just by a small trailer for a few hundred bucks.

mine fits in my ZR2 just fine, I just back it in and over the wheel wells, this way the back tires are up against the front of the box and keep the rack away from my window. As for the evil 4 door crew cab your not going to fit much of a quad in there without some major thinking. A 500 dollar trailer may be the best bet there
