Are ATV Boots water proof????
Most boots are not waterproof and only resistant, but there are some waterproof boots out there.
I have been looking at a boot made by Sidi that uses a waterproof membrane to keep you feet dry, and cant seem to find anyone that has them to get more info etc.
I know that when your up to your knees in water you should expect to get wet but when your just running thru water holes in 3rd you shouldnt have to worry about soaked feet, and thats exactly what happens with the alpine stars I have now.

My Thor T-30s are...at least, so far they are. They have a a webbing around the tounge and boot that ensure that your feet stay dry and quite warm. Ive worn them for 45min sessions in the snow and many man many times in the mud and water. Ive never had a wet foot with them on. And even with inches of snow buildup on my boots, my feet stayed warm. But Im sure if you were to submerge them in a river or creek, then they wouldnt be completely dry, but then...what would. I can vouch for the T-30s, but I dont know about the rest.

Most boots are just water repelent..you shouldn't have any problems if you just splash through water..they should repel just fine...but your right..if you go through a creek or submerge them then of course your going to have wet feet..I've walked through some water and mudd in mine past the ankle and a drop never got in...I do know that there are some riding boots that are suppose to be outstanding on keeping water out..but of course they will cost you an arm and a leg
