Anxious for winter!
#1
I purchased my 1st quad this spring (2K wolverine) and I can't wait for winter to get here, blasting through snow, opening it up on the frozen river, etc..
Please share any of your experiences (good & bad) about riding in the snow/winter.

Love it. There is nothing like blazing full throttle acrossed a frozen lake! I usually stay clear of the rivers. Seen and heard of to many falling through. Because of the current in the rivers, the ice thickness varies to much.
And hitting big powder snow drifts is a blast. Looks good in pictures too.

Snow is GOD! I have a 1994 Yamaha V-max 600 snowmobile so I like to scoot right on past all the atvs out there. I have A LOT of respect for them though because that's all I do in the summer time but it's hilarious to see the look on their face when I kick a nice 5 ft jigh roost in their face!
