speaking of p/c i bought a dell for my first i believe a 8200 model 2.0g 512 meg of rambus ram g force 4 ti 4600 etc etc then after a year or so i decided to build one my self now i have a AMD 3200 1 gig of duel channel 400 ddr memory radion 9800 xt graffix card alum case 480 watt enermax power supply asus mother board 19 inch sony crt moniter and klipsch pro media 5.1 surround sound also lite on dvd burner reader writer for + and - dvd s also a lite on cd burner reader writer after all said and done it cost me 1600 to build it myself oh i use windows xp stay away from win 2000 and millenium they stink nothing seems to be compatible with them win xp is a very reliable and compatible op sys like win 98se if i was to puchase this p/c from a puter store it prob would have cost me 2500 + so its worth building one yourself if you feel comfortable doing so just my 2 cents

I like home edition, never had a problem im not a master programmer or do ne hacking type stuff so i dont need XP PRO. Home does the job if u just play games and listen to music.

Well i just got a new compaq it has 160 gigibites, 512megabites of ram,dvd and cd writer all for just $750 plus a monitor flat screen and speakers pretty good deal and dells suck
