Classic Rock, Old Country, 80's, some Hip Hop. It seems the older i get (26) the less i care for the newer stuff. Some of it is okay but the new country for the most part is too poppy. JMO

Now there's a guy with taste. I can play all of Rush's stuff on the drums, been a fan of theirs forever.

Wow, I am impressed. Not many people will admit they like country and rock at the same time. So I will admit it too, I like the hair bands from the eighties and country, some classical, gospel and throw in alittle pinch of hip hop. That should just about do it, oh wait, I forgot Polka music .Okay, that is stretching it a bit. AlaskaBoy.

I guess I'm the outcast here. I have been listening to a lot of death metal and black metal lately. Stuff like In Flames, Soilwork, Opeth, Emporer, and Children of Bodom to name a few.

I have been a hard rock guy forever, still like my jazz though as well. But the heavy metal now like on Headbangers Ball is hilarious. Tuned-down low chords, and gutteral death yell vocals that are all identical. I mean much of it makes Slipknot look artistic. I don't get it, but hey if you like it go with it.

I am not a big fan of the "cookie monster" vocals either. Most of the bands I listed actually do sing a bit. I don't like very many of the bands they play on Headbangers ball (too much mallcore crap).
Most of what I listen to is more underground.
