Default Run of bad luck

Bought my new Raptor in February. Broke my wrist the next week,so I didn't get to ride for about 7 weeks. Went to Little sahara in Oklahoma as soon as cast was off. Had a blast on the Raptor. The greatest purchase I have made. Anyway made another trip to LS again nothing but fun. Then I was involved in a car crash breaking my femur. I now have a metal rod running from my hip to my knee that will be with me forever. So the raptor sits and all I have are the forums to live and ride through for now. Will not be able to ride for atleast 6 months they tell me,but things could be alot worse I am lucky I walked away at all. Not to mention I turned 30 in March.LOL Ride hard and have fun........

My hubby, kids and everyone else are tellin me to sell it now...buy no WAY am I giving up riding! Its in my veins now

remember it could always of been worse.

I still gotta sit around for more than a month for my bike to come into the dealership at least you all have a bike you can crawl onto right now and work with.. If i had that much time on my hands i would customize some things on it

Sorry to hear that, really! Just take care of yourself because you have those 2-little ones that need you around and healthy. I have a princess 5-year old daughter and a fire cracker 20-month old son too, I really need to keep a tight leash on the little guy...he gets me a little worried at times. I use to have no fear of death or injury...now things are different. Good luck bro.

And the streak continues....Had to go to the hospital last Friday with a blood clot in my left leg.Spent the whole weekend there. Was supposed to go back to work July 12th looking more like August now. I wish I could go out and work on my Raptor but with the blood clot I am back on bed rest for a while. I know that I am very lucky to be alive after seeing my Jeep and things could be alot worse. I would love to be out riding but now I am just thankful that I get to spend time with my wife and kids. My boy asks me everyday if we can go for a ride and it is just killing me to tell him we can't.So we continue to read dirt wheels and visit the forums. Thanks for all the replys. I hope that you all heal fast and get back out and ride soon. I swear I am not turning 31 next year..LOL
