Well, I just went for a wild ride earlier today. My friend just got his 1969 Camaro on the road and took me for a 20-minute drive. Holy cow that car is fast. Here's some specs:

69 Camaro

454 Engine (Stock bore & stroke mild performance cam)
Edelbrock intake & carb
Edelbrock Nitrous kit set to 100HP
Electric exhaust cut-outs
4-Speed Manual Trans hooked to Posi-Trac rear with 3.08 gears

This car has original un-ported IRON heads but is still fast as heck. We did a few runs on a local country road (no longer used by the public) and marked off 1/4 mile the car just spins all the way though 2nd until he hits third even if he works the clutch and gas. He needs some ET Streets or somthing because the new Sumitomo 17"s he has just don't grab with that much power.

Really cool experience though. I'll get some pictures for you guys when I can. He says he is going to port the heads then get an ATI Pro Charger next. Wheeeeeew my neck will probably break then [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]
