NOT just the business people and ceos that know how to use the republican tax breaks to get rich, NOT hire more workers like the plan says its for. I agree that our government seems to be out for itself, but the democrats give a little more back to the hard working people than the rep. , not much but enough to get my vote.

The only flaw in your theory is that you are relying on the business owners and corporations to eat the tax increase and not to pass the additional tax cost on to the consumer. Like it or not (I personally don't like it.), the fact is that if you tax the rich, i.e. the business owners and corporations, the taxes will not hurt them, it will hurt us. They will simply charge us with the extra tax burden by way of higher prices for goods and services. Sad but true.

Yes the rep. gave you a couple of tax cuts, and the business owners got millions in tax cuts. But what good is a tax cut if you don't have a job. They said the unemployment rate was going down, this is not true. There is just less people who still qualify for unemployment benifits because they have been off work for so long. If you can't collect anymore than they consider you nonworking and not unemployed.

I never said the dem. gave us tax breaks. they gave us work! Its nice to have an atv and a place to ride, but without a job what good it a place to ride because you have to sell your atv to make your house payments. There are alot of people that see the rep. the way you do. They gave use more in tax breaks than the dems. but over all the workers are making less money if any at all. If you have a job than yes the rep. seem to give more in tax cuts, but that money has to come from some where. There are less workers who have jobs and yet the ones that do work are getting more money back(not much when compared to amount of loss by not having a job). Do you see where this leads.

Like I said the dem. just give the working man a little more of life than the rep. Not much but enough to sway my vote.

In my trade alone(ibew 176 electrical workers), we have had almost a 3rd of our local laid off over the past 9 months. GWB changed the environmental acts that were supposed to go into effect and the refineries around our local canceled all the work they had planed to do to update the exausts into the air. How many jobs could have been saved in our area alone. Why did he do this? to save the companies money so they could hire more workers. lol instead they laid off because they didn't have to meet the new epa standards becaus bush changed them.

That is just a real example of the impact they have on us. If you are a lawyer, or business man this would be a positive thing so vote rep. but for me this effects my employement and family so I vote dem.

here's the deal. the two biggest issues brought up every election for the last 20 years has been abortion and gun control. the republicans always say they will keep your guns and stop abortions. guess what no guns have been taken and abortions are still happening. if you vote for a candidate based on these two issues only you are sad excuse for a educated voter. these issues never change and probaly never will. vote on what is good for every single person for years to come and not what some candidate says is going to happen if you elect the other guy!

Since ya'll are on this forum, you enjoy the outdoors, riding dirtbikes, ATVs, motorcycles, etc. If you want land to ride, hunt, fish on....then you better vote Republican....

If you vote for the liberals, then when your riding area gets taken away, then we don't want to hear it....go somewhere else when that happens...

As long as there are 2 people on this earth, sooner or later there is going to be a fight.

The main issue with me in this election is a matter of trust and respect.

While I may not like or agree with evrything Bush has done, I personally have to respect him for standing up for his beliefs and convictions. Right or wrong, good or bad, he stands behind his words and actions no matter what the outcome, even when the decissions are hard or unpopular ones to make.

I watch Kerry jump back and forth trying to please everyone, and doing justice to no one. It's the do whatever it takes to get the votes attitude. For having no Base or Convictions to stand by and defend, I can not give him my vote or support.

With that said, I must say that the child that started this post needs to learn respect for the office of the President of the United States of America. Hoping for the Death of another human being also leeds me to believe that they need to learn to respect Human Life too.

EXACTLY! No matter what issues I disagree with Bush and the Republican party, as long as I want to continue to enjoy motorized recreation I will never vote for a Democrat. Ever! For this one issue alone!

National politics has always been of great interest to me. This election will be awefully close , I also believe there are very few undecided poeple out there .

In my opinion the big issue in this election is the war on terror , I know there are other things as well but this has us pretty well polarized one direction or the other .

I believe what we are doing in Iraq is justified . I don't like to here of casualties of our service poeple or anyone for that matter , but it is a fact of life we have to deal with . If these terrorist bums are allowed to operate they may increase to a point we have a much larger problem on our hands . We need the resolve of GWB to stay focused on eliminating the threat . Boys ,,,, if the terrorists had their way ,we would all be dead , they despise our way of life , and just the fact that we exist .

The cost of this war is of not really a concern of mine , I could care less , the money is going right back into our economy , it is not like the money is gone . Do the math , I did . We are talking about 100,000,000,000 (one hundred billion ) we have a population of roughly 300,000,000 (three hundred million ) . We are talking about roughly $350 for every man women and child , I have a family of 4 myself , this means about $1400 for my family , I would gladly double that if needed , the cause in my opinion is worth the cost .

John Kerry talks about our country having lost respect in the world , maybe I am not educated enough to understand this , I have not seen boycotts on us from other countries , I haven't seen any countries making threats to us . I believe we have done enough diplomatic talking and negotiatting , we didn't suprise attack anyone , we laid out our intentions , and we followed up on it . We were sucker punched , and we had the descency to go through political channels to avoid this confrontation . I just don't understand how we can be seen as the bad guys.

I have been known to change my opinion on things , I am not closed minded by any means , however at this point I believe George W. Bush's actions are in the best interest of The United States of America .

If you like riding off higway vehicles, I'd suggest voting for Bush. Under the Clinton administration, snowmobiles were banned from Yellowstone, which is still in court now. PWC's were almost banned in Lake Powell, and millions of acres were banned for any motorized use.

Bush's administration is trying to reverse a lot of the damage, but can't do it all. If Kerry is elected, the bans will resume and atv's may be made illegal altogether (hopefully it will never get that far). Don't think it can happen? Look at 3 wheelers.

If you support atv riding, I suggest joining the blue ribbon coalition or a local group and protect your rights. It's the same concept as unions, there is strength in numbers. I don't know of a single off road organization, hunting group, or motorized sports group supporting Kerry.
