East Texas Boy, I agree with you. I met Bush in Estes Park, CO at a Boy Scout Camp. He seemed at home with an ax or shovel, unlike pictures I've seen of Clinton or other past Presidents. He'll also eat BBQ off of paper plates just like everyone else. When he says Hi, it's like a farmer or rancher saying Hi. There is no pretense or "fakeness" about him when he is in the outdoors. He may not speak well giving speaches, but he is very down to earth and nice in person.

 

Everyone needs to take a look at TB400's photos. He a young KID who is still wanting a little lowrider car and plays with paintball guns,,,not that there's anything wrong with either of these,,,but it shows he has no idea what this world is all about. I wonder what the FBI would say to someone wishing for ANY Presidents death? I have a son who is in the Army and I'm very proud we have a President who will make a statement, then make a stand to back up that statement! To jimk72,,,I think the days of the unions are about over. 60 or so years ago there was a true NEED for unions mainly because of the poor working conditions and treatment of employees by some of the big companies. Now these unions are as corrupt as any organization in the land. I work for a very large, world wide chemical company which is non-union, and I've never understood the concept of paying someone(Union dues) to keep my job. You said a mouthful when you said,"and believe all hard working people should be able to live a good life". I don't understand how people like You and I, who have a job, should have our taxes increased to pay for someone who, first of all, doesn't WANT to work and second, expects the government, using our tax dollars, to fund his lifestyle! If you don't think liberals want to take away guns, you need to do some honest research for yourself! Chuck Shumer, Mrs. Clinton, Sarah Brady, and others have said they will not be happy until ALL guns were gone,,that means your's and mine. We don't need more gun laws,,,we just need to enforce the ones we have,,and enforce them strongly! After looking back at our history, I've never seen such a divide in politics. I'ts like we've come to a point in time where we have to examine ourselves and see which moral standards we deem important. I may take lots of heat for what I've just posted but I'm a Christian who believes abortion,high taxes,same gender marriages,big government,ect., are wrong! America is slowly becoming a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. Therefore I'm voting for the man how I think has the strongest Christian commitment which is more closely in line with my views,,,,George W. Bush.

Well one thing i don't like what Bush is doing is keeping troops in iraq,everyone might as well forget about winning that war,you can't beat them rag heads over there,all they do is strap a bomb to there selves and blow up there selves and are americans.So Bush should stop worring about whats going on overthere and tighten the security here in the US and make sure none of the idiots get in here and terroize us.Bush is a good president however he needs to get our troops out,men are getting killed everyday over there and its going to keep being like that,so somethings got to give soon or later.

 

Has anyone been following the Olympics? Have you seen Iraq's Soccer Team? All you have to do is think about the fact that those Human Beings are competing in the Olympics for their country, with No fear of be Jailed, Persecuted, or Killed by Sadam and his Sons for their failure to do anything but win.

It is almost impossible to stop someone who is willing to die to kill others. Besides, the Terrorist organizations have been killing people including Americans for many years now. The days of sitting back and waiting for them to come to us is over, unless Kerry gets elected. Then we will go back to being the Terrorist's punching bag unless the U.N. decides to step up and do something about it, which is highly unlikely. Well maybe after 400 meaningless U.N. Resolutions.

I live in a Mill town, and I can tell you that the Unions have gotten so far off track, that it is virtually impossible for them to straighten themselves out. The days of Unions protecting the worker are gone. They now concentrate on getting as much money for as little work as they can possibly muster. They concentrate on keeping persons that are unfit to fulfill the duties required by their jobs in their positions. They are one of the major causes for the increase in production costs that are then passed on to the consumer. They in and of themseves do nothing to create new jobs. It was a noble cause gone amuck. The end result is a continuing decline in their power.

 

I'm fifteen and i know that bush only gives the rich tax cuts and doesn't do anything for middle class bush is just retarded he doesn't help you guys who like nascar hes against everything and he sent police to african american's house and threatened them with guns saying not to vote because they know all the black people will vote for kerry because bush helps no one and he needs to get out of office p.s he can't even say nuclear right and he's our president who fell off his mountain bike twice he's a retard and does nothing!!!!! for you or me !!!!

Also, that comment that said something about our President being harmed or whatever, that should be edited or removed immediatly. I don't care if you like him or not, there is no way that should stay posted.

Two more things. I know this will be unpopular, but I think you should have to take a test to get the right to vote, un-eduacated people voting is as bad as not getting to vote.
