For example, I would never vote for Kerry because he wants to raise our taxes through the roof! I would never vote for Kerry cause he wants to take our weapons away! I would never vote for Kerry cause he is for the rewilding of the West!!

WileyCoyote, I'm a democrat and I'm anything but proud of a ridiculous comment like that. You really shouldn't judge people by the party they chose to belong to. Quite frankly I think this whole party thing is getting out of hand. Our entire government is in need of serious reform. The days of by the people, for the people are long gone. We need a government who will get things done for us instead of bickering with each other. Very few get involved in government for the right reasons. Most are just looking out for themselves.

TB400, I know by your just a kid but if you try to conduct yourself in a respectful manor. People will take you much more serious. To say that you hope the president dies is ridiculous and in some cases could get you in trouble. Whether you like George W. Bush or not you should still respect the position of the President of the U.S.

A candidate can promise you the world but without the support of congress it would never happen. They know what buttons to push to get peole excited. I'm against abortion, I'm for abortion, I'm for gun control, I'm against gun control. These four statements sway the votes of millions but in reality a president alone can't do anything about them.

i really dont like either of them i have always been a republican but George W. has been a terrible president and has tarnished the image of America to the rest of the world now Kerry has done nothing in his political career to make him worthy of the job "not the GWB did" Kerry has also fipped on so many things its hard to trust him...I just want our boys to come home from Iraq its hell over there and i dont believe they will ever embrace democracy. its really a loose loose for Americans..neither of them deserve it..

 

I am so tired of people saying democrats will take away their guns. They never said that ever! I've argued over and over with people, and they say well my gun club said this, or my hunting buddies heard this. Its not true. what they did say was that there needs to be a set of laws that are the same in all states. In illinois you can have guns, you just have to register and get approved before you can just buy any gun. in other states anyone can buy weapons with no registration. This leads to people buying weapons, then bringing them over state lines and selling them. There is a major problem with the way some states operate. If you are not a convict you will not have any problem getting guns tp hunt with, its the ones that don't hunt and resell the guns that will be affected.

Im not against guns, as I hunt myself, but all my guns are registered. I know its the people that kill not the guns. but some people should not have guns in the first place.

If your wondering I am voting for kerry. I am a union worker and believe all hard working people should be able to live a good life. NOT just the business people and ceos that know how to use the republican tax breaks to get rich, NOT hire more workers like the plan says its for. I agree that our government seems to be out for itself, but the democrats give a little more back to the hard working people than the rep. , not much but enough to get my vote.

I don't hate rep. just like dem. a little more.

 

I am sorry but what Dem. has ever given a tax cut to you?? NONE!! Seems like I have gotten 2 since the republican Pres. has come into office. About guns, I seem to remember that Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the contry(gestopo tactics where mayor daileys goons come in and take peoples weapons from there house) and also has the highest violent crime rate except for Washinton DC!! I have yet to read anywhere in the constitution that it says the government has the right to regulate guns. What I do remember is the the govt. SHALL NOT INFRINGE ON THE PEOPLES RIGHT TO BARE ARMS!
So now lets talk about OHV's. Under the last Dem. presedent we lost MILLIONS of acres of riding areas to the enviromentalists, to save Bald Eagles and bears, NO It was to save weeds, Beatles and Butterflies!! All a ploy to try and get all forms of motorized recreation shut down!

as i recall becouse of GEORGE W. BUSH we got a couple of nice tax breaks and over the course of his term i have alot of extra spending money that i can now put into my pred. and i would like to continue to do so. so im am voting for bush. and i am also a union worker local 396 IBEW. and yes BUSH does give back to the hard working americans. and i sure hope my kid grows up alot more respectfull of our pres nomatter who he is. tb400s parents should read his post pull his pants down and whoop his a$$
