10-4 Unless that Ice is real thick you better be goin fast. if you broke thru i could just see with my luck i would and during entry the ice sheet would decapitate me. In washington i dont know if anylakes freeze. definatley not enough to ride on. I always wanted to stud up a set of tires and ride on a hocky rink???

I've seen guys spinning their quads around in circles on the ice enough to get you very dizzy! Saw this when I was fishing for sunnies through the ice 2 yrs. ago. Their was about 20" of ice on that lake.

20 inches of iceOnly way you see that much ice here in Cali is to empty the ice chest in the waterI might try someday to hydroplane over water Just like the video that was floating around on the forum a month or so ago
Onefly, you could be your own Zamboni sliding around on the rink

OMG Hydroplaining i have funny story on that. So we have all these ponds on our ranch and there is a section we walk the horses thru to soack their hooves and stuff before trimming. and its like 4'deep. the entry to it is down hill kinda steep so my brother thinks he is gonna drive across just go fast and pop a wheelie right. lol So he hits it at about 45 and pops his wheelie front end dove in and bike tumbled across the water and flung him about 30 ' across onto his head. Good thang he had his helmet. so then i am always the type that says yeah you suck let me show ya how its done. I come in there just flyin and I barely made it to the other side where my bike died and my air filter turned into a pancake. clay dust and water dont mix. it was funny. but i decided a Nice smooth approach is required.

LOL Don't you love it when we try and up someone and don't do much betterLOL. I think when I try it, I'l try a smaller pond, with a flat entry and exit point.

Thats a good idea. One upping on hill climbs can get spendy. especially when they are real steep and slick with vertical sections. Ive watched the quad tumble 200+vertical feet and only hit the ground 3 times on the way down and it hit the bottom and bounced over a dump truck. turnd the axle 90° Was a good one

Oh yea, one upping can turn into a an expensive adventureEspecially what some guys here ride That's why I'm content riding within my own ability

The main reason I like the woods best. when you bust up your bike its allot easier to A Walk out and B Get towed
