Default Woods or Dunes

Just wondering how many of you riders are woods or dune.

Growing up in Northern NJ and now living in NY I've never really ridden on dunes. I've been in some sand but for the most part I ride in woods and fields, which is why a Warrior is fine for me. I'd probably have a Banshee if I lived where some dunes were.

So of the guys/gals who've ridden both, which do you like better.

Tight technical trails, or wide open dunes?

never done the dunes but want too...but woods is great...great work out because you have to use ALOT of body english too fly through as fast as possible...I can run about a mile course in ohh say minute 30 seconds on a good run which is pretty damn good for a stock tb.

I lean towards Dune riding, though I do trail riding every now and then.

I ride in the wood's Fall, Winter and Spring. Head to Pismo Dunes in the summer to escape the heat and dust.

Dunes by far, my first experience with woods was last month, and it ended up costing me close to 700 bills.
First 45mins into the ride, I was heading into a nice jump, well jumped and found that the trail went left and I went straight into the trees.

So its dunes, desert, or MX for me I can now say I have a whole lot more respect for GNCC guys.

ive ridden some wild a$$ dunes and they are a blast......on my old banshee thats pretty much all i would ride cept for like 2 times a year i took a trip with friends and we rode some hardcore technical woods trails.

now that i have my Z400 and my banshee is gone im pretty much all woods.....ive had the Z on the sand once and while it was ok....its no where near powerful enough for me to have fun on the sand.
