Does anyone know if the Warn mini rocker winch switch will work on other brands of winches?

 

I have never tried it, but I can see no reason why it wouldn't work.

The new WARN mini rocker will only take like 3 amps... all the current runs through that contactor..

So you Can't use it to replace a different switch that DOES NOT have a contactor... you'll be bummed..

You can buy a kit from WARN for about $110.00 that includes the new mini rocker and the contactor and wiring if you want to bag your old switch..

WARN also makes a bigger rocker
switch that does take the curent.,.

 

not sure about the amp contactor thing but I don't see why you couldn't use it, seems like there wouldn't be any differences cause it's just a rocker switch right? the best thing to do would be to email customer service on the warn website to see what they say.
