Does anyone know who the owner of Chaparral Motorsports out of CA is. I found a James Damron. Before buying anything from this CO. think about this. I was billed incorrectly and when I called them about it Shannon from customer service advised me, "sorry my operators don't make mistakes." I asked for the manager and she said she was the highest ranking person. This I doubt since she was the one who answered the telephone. Then I asked for the owners name and she told me that it was public record, find it yourself. She then hung up on me. I was stunned. Is this a company you want to purchase from? If anyone has information on the owner please contact me. Thank you.

I have heard (unsubstantiated) that Jeremy McGrath was at least a part owner of Chapparal. You might contact Dirt Wheels editorial or advertising dept. I'd assume they would have that info. As a last resort contact the Calif. Attorney General's office to either voice your complaint or to obtain the info you request. Of course you could always file a complaint with the Postal Service since Chaparral does business via mail, however, depending on how old you are you could die of old age before the Postal Service resolved anything

I've had problems with them too. I ordered a mount kit for my hand guards and they sent the wrong ones. After talking to a couple operators with bad attitudes they transfered my to customer service and they were just as bad as the operators. I don't do business with them anymore!

I bought a pair of Sidi discovery boots and got overcharged according to their catolog price. The only option they gave was send them back. I'm done with them to. Love my boots though.
