Rem:

I did in fact read your entire original post and am sorry to have replied in a manner which left a different impression on you. Your tactic of posting under an inflamitory header is bound to get attention for sure.

How is your friend Talin and his family doing? Keep us posted on this if you could, their are people here that do care.

he can finally breathe on his own. the MRIs came back and they think he will have some brain damage, and will probably be blind in one eye. they dont think the brain damage will be major, just maybe a slight loss in memory. from what ive heard, he is in good condition for being hit by a car going 55 ,but he has no broken bones. the whole school is starting to pull together, and we are starting a fund for his family, because his parents are divorced, his mom works, but she cant because she is at the hospital all day. hopefully this will all turn out for the best.

Rem:

Good to hear your school has taken this fund raising on as a project. Sounds like Talin's injuries are not now considered life threatening which is good news. Hope the other problems turn out to be less sever than it now sounds.

Sorry for the delay in this reply, been at our farm and away from the net. Hang in there young man, your friend will appriciate it when he gets better.

Update on Talin's condition:

not much has changed. He has still not came out of his coma. I dont know if i told you earlier, but at first they thought that he would make a full recovery, but after several cat scans and MRI we have found that there is severe brain damage. now some of the nurses are saying that it would have been better for him to pass away.

i do not know what to think or what to do now. i am certainly praying for him and his family, but as much as i want him to come out of his coma, i know it wouldnt help for him to come out, because he can barely respond.

i guess all i can do now his help his family out- seeing as his parents are divorced, and his mom who he lives with has spent all her time with him, instead of at her job.

i am sorry for taking so long to give you an update, it has been about 4 weeks since the accident and i have had alot on my mind and alot to do.

Pic Of Crosswalk

we had no idea they were even taking pictures of our crosswalk. the kid in the 3rd picture in the red fox hoody is my friend nate.

this shows how close the cars come to us when we walk by. i was at this spot probably about an hour before this picture was taken.

I believe there is an equal case for driver's licences to be with held until age 21 as well.

REM that link you need to remove the HTTPs:// from the begining of it and if you took the liscense away at 60 that lady woulds still been driving. a similar thing happend to my cousin. he has passed on now but he was on his motorcycle crossing the highway at night and a drunk with no headlights sideswiped him at 70+ and he flew a couple hundred feet. broke dang near every bone in his body and he was in a coma for a year then when he was out of it he was still pretty much a vegtable. It sucks fo sure. Pray god has another plan for that young man.
