Arctic Cat Gas Leak
#1
Anyone dealt with this problem? My dealer seems to be stumped....
Gas leaking/dripping from the bottom of the carburetor (drain) whenever the ATV is rocked back and forth. Especially noticeable after it's been trailered. First noticed a distinct gas smell when it was garaged and then noticed after trailering that enough gas is leaking out to actually pool in the depressions on top of the tranny casing. This happens when the 400 is not running.
Dealer has been all over the unit, focusing on the carb. The carb was actually replaced on the latest trip in - courtesy of AC. Put the unit back on the trailer, travelled home and still had the same problem - smell and raw gas leaking. I was able to stand on the trailer, rock the ATV back and forth and see the gas dripping off the bottom of the carb.
It's an AC 400 4x4 Auto with less than 200 miles on it.
It's about to go back in to the dealer - again - but I would appreciate any suggestions/help on this.

Yep, I considered another source for the leak, but it's real difficult to tell if there's another source. I've sourced oil leaks with a fluorescent dye before. Wonder if there's a similar product for the gas?
I'll take another look tonight and see if it's actually coming from a source above the carb.....
