A MUST READ FOR THE ANTI-WAR CLAN !!!!

Fill me in....Bush won the election, the reps run the senate and the house, and things are looking up for 4 appointments to the supreme court. What I cant figure out, is why are you so angry? You should be gloating.
If your kid asks about the current slaughter of innocent people in Danfur...whats gonna be your reponse? call a cop? are those lives not worth fighting for? Dont we owe them a democracy, like were doing to iraq?
Dont worry about us vets...weve been through alot worse than a war of words. I fought for the 1st amendment...and all the ones after it. I believe in free speech, and because of me and my fellow men in arms, you are free to speak as well. I dont feel as though i was spit on, I can speak for myself and if i feel someone trashes on vets....I can handle it. Its just words, and all you can control is your response.
As far as osmas letter..how do we know its real? Why is it exposed by a disgruntled former CIA guy? Why didnt cheney or bush bring this to our attention?
The most important thing to remember...we dont want to teach our kids WHAT to think...its more valuable to teach them HOW to think. Its called critical thinking, look it up. It teaches people the skills to sort thru facts and opinions, and find the facts, and the biases. Its something schools dont teach, but its a skill all young people need . Someday you wont be around when he needs the answer, and hes gonna need that skill to make the right choice. Do him a favor and teach him those skills.
If the war in iraq was so obviously right...why was the coalition of the willing (bribed is more accurate) armtwisted into helping? If its the right thing to do, and if everyone knows its the right thing to do, why wont anyone come forward to help? Why in the news, are they so desparate to find iraqi sucess, in falluja? The only thing they have done is make camera apperances, in the staged events...like storming a mosque.

I am for the war on terror. That is why I oppose the war in Iraq. Saddam needed to be dealt with, but now is not the time to be deviding our forces between two unrelated wars.
