After a few encounters with some low hanging tree branches, I won't ride without mine. Sometimes I will ride without my jersey, but not without my chest protector. I have the Answer Edge one

I dont wear one on a quad, but on the motocross bike I have found it to be quite nice. Saves from getting nailed from rocks and other roost on the track, might even save a rib or two in a wreck.

Hell ya, roost protectors save you. I wear mine whenever I ride my dirtbike and sometimes on my atv. Just like wearin football pads minus some of the padding. Definately saves your shoulders and upper arm. Helps when you are ridin in the woods from those low hanging branches. I have a Thor Aftershoc roost protector. I'm a Thor guy all the way. The new Thor Roost protector is awesome. I want one.
