Polaris rider here. Things only break when I ask for trouble. When you ride hard and torture your quad, things will happen. Don't anybody come back with some wise-a$$ Polaris remark! (that means you Jester)

iwana...

Are you REALLY trying to tell us that you own a 9 year old quad and don't expect to have ANY problems with it???

I have owned plenty of older quads and/or bikes in my day, and all I can say is MAINTENANCE. And also, LISTEN to what your machine is telling you. If you know it well enough, you should have plenty of warning to fix it before it breaks out in nowhere land. I can recall countless weekends when I chose not to ride and instead went to the dealer and spent a couple hundred so I could have a trouble free ride the following weekend. Funny thing about that is, I came to enjoy that too.

Now don't misunderstand, s#!t still happens. We all get stuck and things do still break...oh well...deal with it and HAVE FUN. That's why you bought the thing to begin with, isn't it???

I was iwana400ex no im lt250r man. I am not just talking about my zuki ,I also had a polaris trail boss 250,I know there not reliable but that thing cost me $3,000 in 2 years and I took care of it!!I think i Just have bad luck with quads By the way my zuki just needs the bugs worked out,I just bought it about 3 months ago and got to ride it 4 times. Some of it was my stupid fault though ,like when I thought I needed a new clutch basket so I bought a $200 dollar part, and I find out its a wet clutch. And I was not testing the clutch while the quad was running or moving while running. I didnt know anything about clutches because I had a polaris!Anyway thats not really what I posted about.I meant when your out having a good time something always goes wrong.

i know the feeling, my crap breaks all the time. Only bike I ever had that never, and I mean NEVER, broke was my Honda 250x. Man I rode the hell out of that bike, jumping crap, tree mowing, going through deep water and mud, you name I did it with it. I have a 99 scambler 500 now. Something always breaks when I ride it hard.

Keep you head up and break out the credit card...oh and one more thing....ride it like you stole it.

My 85 LT 250 R blew up almost every time I rode it. I rebuilt it/had it rebuilt 4 times last year before I gave up on it...Ive had to to some field repairs on the Banshee, all stuff that was my own fault...If you can call riding it hard a fault!!
