Default Got a new gas pressure washer. Empty the gas after every use or not??

The deal is my brother-in-law bought it and wanted me to go in half so I did. He firmly believes in emptying the gas after every use because he says it dries up the seals and the gas becomes old and unusable if it sits too long. My thought is to put a gas preserver in the tank and don't worry about the seals. Emptying the tank after every use seems a little extreme.

What are your thought?

if you plan to use it once a year,,,,,then maybe drain the gas

otherwise, use some sta-bil if you feel you need to,,,,and if you plan to put it up for any length of time,,,,,shut the fuel off and run the fuel from the bowl dry

That sounds about right to me. I don't think this thing will ever sit more than a month without use.

J4K, listen to Bing, and put sta-bil in your tank with your fuel if you don't plan on using it for awhile. All my farm machinery, and boat has sta-bil because of the long periods of time between useage. It would be way to expensive to start draining those tanks. Its nice to have a power washer, couldn't live without mine

This one. It's a pretty small one but I think it should do what I need it to.
