Default Finally Back

Well it's been over a half a year since my accident but things are finally healing up and I'm starting to get around fairly good. I sure missed getting on here and reading all the post. Looks like a lot of the same folks are still here and giving out good advice. Hope to meet some of you on the trails again soon.

thanks! looks like theres quite a few new members joined since i was out. my wife never did like me riding sport atv's or street bikes because she was afraid i would break my neck. turns out cars are more dangerous for me than atv's. hopefully i'll be back to riding in a few more months.

the last several weeks i've been so bored that i found playing with my sons hotwheels amusing. man i'm glad we finished the game room before the accident because we put a 70" screen t.v in it and watching movies was about all i could do for a long time. I had a wreck in my beloved supra a few months back. i was going to dallas on I-20 and a car coming into the interstate cut me off. when i slowed down to keep from hitting them a pickup rearended me and made me go off the road and i hit a culvert which flipped the car. seat belts do save lives! i ended up with two broke ribs, a fractured leg and left foot and two craked vertabras, plus some head injuries that cause me to lose some of my memory, what little i had. i can remember stuff from years ago but i have a hard time remembering some things from a few months before the accident, but they are coming back. for a couple of months i didn't even remember the accident or even going to dallas. most of the stuff i can't remember is small things like my passwords to different things the year of my truck or atv and such, just simple things but their coming back. i'm finally up walking around now but have to use a cane to help but its getting better. thanks for all the get well thoughts. if any of you don't wear your seat belts listen to me and wear them. who cares if it's the law wear them because they do work. if i hadn't been wearing them i would have been thrown out of the car because the top came off when it flipped (had a targa top)and probably would have been killed. Thanks eveyone! hope to see some of you on the trails soon.

Welcome back and good to hear you are up and about.

Yes on wearing seatbelts and now I am a airbag supporter also because they have saved my wife and son from possible grave injury.
