FBI searching for bank robber who fled on all-terrain vehicle
FBI agents followed the trail of a fleeing bank robber from Magnolia into Tuscarawas County, but still were searching for the gunman yesterday. Mitchell J. Marrone, senior resident agent in charge of the FBI's Canton office, said the gunman who robbed the Bank of Magnolia office shortly before 4 p.m. fled through a cornfield behind the bank, riding a four-wheel all-terrain vehicle.
The robber drove out of the cornfield onto Route 800, then crossed into Tuscarawas County. Agents and area law enforcement officers were unable to locate the gunman or the ATV.
Anyone with information concerning the bandit is asked to phone the Canton FBI office at 330-456-6200 or the Stark County
Sheriff's Department at 330-430-3805.

I have thought about it(Not that I would do it)
...But....If I was going to rob a bank...I would not limit my get away to the street... If at all available, I would for sure use an atv or enduro for my get away.. It does not look good for the sport, But It makes the most sense to me.
run forest...run!

Actually they have police quads and sandrails too, at least here in the Imperial Valley. They use them out at the Glamis sand dunes. The quad is a Banshee with a stretcher mounted on the back. It has a full set of sand tires, painted black & white and has all the police lights and everything.

I'll second that, Chicago City police have what seem to be Polaris quads painted blue and white with street tires and the lights and all. They almost look as out of place as my friend and me driving down the Chicago alleys on a Pilot. Now that turned some heads!
