True enough, but an underinflated tire will run much hotter than one running full, making this more likely. If you don't believe me, let 10 psi out of one of your car tires (non Firestone lol) and drive around for a while. I guarantee you that within a few miles the one with the lower pressure will be quite a bit hotter, enough to feel with your hand. I agree the glue is the weak point, but low pressure makes it run hotter, pushing it over the edge.
