If I remember right it had a internal rotor that was about 2.5 " in dia. Have I ever mentioned to you that I started making heavier and heavier flywheel weights for my CR500 after my first ride on it. Ended up with 34oz bolted to the stock flywheel. Torque monster.

 

That would be an absolute digger!!! I look at all the four strokes with the hot start buttons and all and it makes me think of my old thumber and slow kicking it till the little marker was visible in a little window on the side of the case....what a pain to start!!!
Now I rode a 450r and two kicks...fires right up. They have it so easy now.
