Champ- how many pitchers do you see hit the ball? I tell ya what, Jason Marquis is one heck of a batter, he just helped himself out with a RBI base hit.
I originaly came in here to ask you your feelings about Raphael Palmeiro? Think he will make it in the Hall of Fame now? Whats the slap on the wrist 10 games worth a meer 180,000 and some odd change. I want to see if the Gov't is going to get involved, or if it was all show. He might not have know that what he was taking was an illegal steroid for baseball, but he was taking something and that in itself is enough for me to argue against him.

Sure, any info is apprecitated. I have some thinking to do, and alot of questions as to how it would effect my family. I cant realy say which branch I would join, I just dont know exactly what I would like to do. I need to research quite a bit more, but the Air Force sounds cool, so does the Army.

I left the service in '93 but I believe 38 Yrs still holds. I can check with My nephew-in-law, he's trying to go from active duty to reserves. He wants to stay here in Cali. and has 6 yrs till retirement. What branch are you looking to get into? FYI I was in the U.S. Air Force.

I saw you guy's talking baseball. Coach alway's used to say if ya wanna hit a home run you gotta use your hips before your hands. I used to think the same thing when I dated

I spoke to my Neph. He said the best thing for you to do would to talk to a recruiter in you area since he's not from your area he doesn't know what military bases are at your local. He seems to think the cut-off was either 36 or 38.

Ok, thanks for taking the time to get some info for me. I will talk to a recruiter for all the questions I have. The only problem I have with a recruiter is that in the past they have pushed me away by being to persistant. All I want to do is ask questions, get answers, then take the time to talk it over with my family. Only time will tell for now.
LOL, hips before hands huh? I always used my hands to feel around before I used my hips.

LOL, I try to get as much practice as I'am allowed. I like to cover all the bases, as a well rounded player.

So when they commentators discuss a batter's great wrist action, are they implying that those were the ones that had the fewest dates growing up?

(Color Commentator) Yeah, John contributes his quick wrists to his lack of dates when he was younger, which left him more time to "polish" his technique....
