I left the service in '93 but I believe 38 Yrs still holds. I can check with My nephew-in-law, he's trying to go from active duty to reserves. He wants to stay here in Cali. and has 6 yrs till retirement. What branch are you looking to get into? FYI I was in the U.S. Air Force.

Sure, any info is apprecitated. I have some thinking to do, and alot of questions as to how it would effect my family. I cant realy say which branch I would join, I just dont know exactly what I would like to do. I need to research quite a bit more, but the Air Force sounds cool, so does the Army.
