banshee vs. yfz 450
#1
my brother in law has a banshee that hes puttin back together and im thinking about maybe getting a yfz 450. i want to kno what id have to do to keep up with the banshee? his banshee has k&n clamp on air filters, reed spacers, hot rod crank, dg silencers, race wiring harness, and maybe a few other things but thats most of it.

any pipes? and no, you will not keep up with him if you race around fields or open areas, but other places, you will be faster, just use your noggin and push the 450 to the max, and i'm sure you'll be happy with the outcome.

If you do get a 450, a pipe and filter will really wake it up. I keep up with modded banshee's every where, but again in my place there really isn't really build up banshee's.

Every race i've seen between the two the yfz 450 has one but all of them were piped.

With the pipe/filter you should be able to take him. Even stock you will be in good shape as long as you aren't drag racing or running open fields and fireroads. The YFZ has lightyears better suspension and handling, and more low end power. A good rider can make a Banshee really fly though, so if your buddy has better skills beware.
