Default Belton Mo, Stolen Quad. (and the story that goes with it)

Well, Its 2am and its been a long day, I will start this story where I was when my day was at its best, At my jeep club meeting. I ventured up to Fuddruckers to join up some freinds and enjoy eating as much processed meat and frozen milk and sugar as possible. In the midst of the conversation at the table my cell rings. I look at the number and it says "Incoming call" No #. I answer and the fine young man on the other end inquires as to why I am selling my Four wheeler and When I might be able to show it to him. I tell him I will be home in an hour. He calls again about 45 min later and I tell him I am on my way, "be there in 20" I say.
Out of courtesy I break/bend a few traffic laws to get home quickly, as to not offend this possible future customer of mine. I get home walk in the front door grab the key for the four wheeler and before I can do anything else "knock, knock". I walk to the door, open it, and introduce myself. He introduces himself as "Corey" (such a nice name). We walk to the four wheeler (which at the time was in my front yard, All shiny and new looking, Fresh oil, full tank of gas and a nice clean engine I spent 2 hours with a toothbrush cleaning) Corey looks at the kfx 400 and says, "man that is a really nice quad" I say thanks and ask where his car is. He says "I live at 502 caldwell, about 2 blocks away". We make small talk for a few minutes, swapping stories about riding, until he says "Do you mind If I take it for a spin down to the church" . "Sure" I say. Corey responds with "Do you possibly have a helmet I can """Borrow""". "Sure" I say. I walk inside, grab my helmet and say "dont go to fast on it, I wouldnt want you getting hurt on the pavement." Corey, Being the gentleman he is says "I understand, I break it I buy it, is my philosophy." He then hops on the bike and heads for the church. I lean against my nice White jeep in the driveway and listen to the throaty exaust as he drives to the church. I then hear him go past the church. Then I hear what could only be him tearing a** as fast as he can. I think to my self "Is this guy stealing my quad" I wait for a second and think again "no, he wouldnt do that, Corey is a nice kid" WWWWRRRRROOOOONNNNGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That little Crack headded, Piec o chit, wrapped out the throttle and made for his crack mamas house. I heard him open it up on the hwy and I headed inside to grab my keys, By the time I got back to my jeep (20 seconds) I could barely hear him. I jumped in my jeep and went flying out of my neigborhood as fast as she would carry me. but to no avail I couldnt find him. I call the cops and they came out to my house about 45 min later, In the meantime I had 3 of my neighbors and two other friends looking, but that also brought no favorable conclusion. I know I will probably never see the quad again. But you know what, Belton is a small town and I will remember Corey. And when I find him, well lets just say I wont be able to tell you that story.

The End!

And yes I do have insurance on it. But thats not really the point.

Well it is 3am, I walked down to the church again, hoping to find some tracks that I some how missed earlier, but again, no success. I know I wont get any sleep tonight. I am reflecting on a comment that my good friend corey said "thats a really nice jeep" . Uh, just thinking of him coming and molesting my jeep makes me want to throw up. I turned all the lights on out back, I dont think crackheads like bright light. maybe it will scare him away.

Corey is about 5'9", approx 150lbs, dirty blond hair cut short. red t-shirt and jeans. He had mentioned riding at deepwater.

There are pics of my quad in my sig.

Thanks, Jason
