The only way to sign up for gmail is if someone invites you. Gmail is also good as a public email address, one you use on message boards and free trials, where you want to avoid spam. I started like that, but liked it so much I switched to it completely.

you can also join gmail if u have a cell phone u tell em ur phone number and they send a txt to ur phone then u do what it tells u to takes like 1 minute[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
