Has anyone had problems carrying a pair of binoculars on their quad and getting them rattled around while going down the trail? I find lots of situations where I would like to have my binoculars with me, but, I am worried about dammaging them due to the bouncing around while travelling. Thanx for your input.

If you ride a utility quad with a cargo box you could wrap them in a towel as I do and they should survive almost any amount of jostling. Also there are straps made that hold cameras & binocs close to the chest, preventing them from excessive movement.

Greetings,

Cabela's has monoculars about the size of your finger. They are covered in rubber (black or camo), give a really clear view, and run a very reasonable $12. You could carry one in your pocket.
