Anyone own a machine shop?
#1
Just wondering if any members own a shop?
Been thinking about setting up a machine shop/engine rebuilding shop and wondering what equipment (brand name) you are using.
Thanks!

I dont own one but have worked in a machine shop for about 27 years. We are mostly prototype developemental kind of shop with CNC mills and lathes and some manual equipment. I dont know much about the engine rebuilding side of a machine shop but am pretty familar with manufacturing. We have 2 kitamura cnc mills and 1 matsuura cnc mill. A miyano and a microstar cnc lathes. A leblond manual lathe and 2 bridgeportmanual mills.
