I was watchin the news a couple days ago and there were like 20 topics bout people getting jumped and held at gun-point for their x-box 360's. people had to get escorted out of the stores by security so they didnt get robbed. its crazy. wat has this world come to? beating eachother over a stupid game console? it might be really cool and technical and stuff and i know everyone wants one.... but is it really THAT great that we have to fight eachother over it? we have officially all gone mad.

 

Bloomberg reported that Microsoft "loses at least 153 dollars on every xbox 360 sold"...

 

That may be true, but you also have to look at how much they get off of each game they sell for the 360...hardware is nothing...software is where the money is at

 

my friend bought a few shares in microsoft stock.... he made $6000 this week.

 

does any1 have the new x-box yet? or planning on getting one? i heard (also on the news) that there are already sum problems with it. i wonder wats gunna happen.

The only thing I dont like is my xbox is now extinct. Which means no Project Gotham Racing 3 for me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img].

 

Yeah I definitely don't like that either I want the new PGR3....and as soon as the 360 was released everyone's Xbox went waaaaay down in value as well. But I think the 360 has a lot of potential, ecspecially with Halo 3 on the horizon!

 

Are the games compatible?

 

Yeah most of the original Xbox games are compatible to play them on 360, and for a small fee you can download the rest of the info you need to play all of them... so there's not much sense in anyone buying an Xbox and it's not like you'll be losing any of your good old games buying 360.
