JJFAT, you've never seen people like Greg Bakker race, my friend used to run all the nationals, and at one track he said Greg was clocked at 112 mph in the strait on a 250R, and never lifts in the corner. Thats right, he never once lets off the gas going into the corner. In TT top-end is needed.
I did see the jump too, but I knew he didn't make it because some of the people I race with were racing that national. They even said that most of the racers felt he didn't have enough run to make it, including Matt, but he said he had to do it anyway. I think he should have been able to make it on the 250 with enough room. I don't know why they didn't just use a big bore Honda with that frame if nothing else, that should be plenty of power.
Also, his quad was built here in the US by RPM, thier frame, not a Phillips or something. I heard his next attempt will be on a Phillips with a 500 in it, but that will soon be seen... I don't know why he just doesn't stay with a laegers or RPM frame, because I race a couple of Phillips quads and they do jump well (Very similar to a Honda) but they are heavier, but thats his choice, and maybe they are going to help him out more or something. Either way I hope he makes it and shows people what ATV's are capable of other than what they think or hear.

Anybody ever see those guys in the X-games on dirtbikes?
They were jumping off the bike in the air and grabbing ahold of the seat when the bike was in front of them, then pulling it back under them before landing! CRAZY!
