Went riding this weekend in good old New England.
My disc rear brake froze up! what can I carry with me that will fix this very annoying problem? this is the 1st time I go out in the cold. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! but it was still fun! Does this happen all the time or just when going thru water? forgive if this question sounds dumb!

What is dry gas, and where can I buy it, this past weekend my KQ was froze and I ended up destroying the rear axle shaft, a little $200 mistake. The worst part is I can't get it to run on 3 wheels so i can plow, so i have to shovel all 14" of snow here in chicago.

Use silicon spray and spray it all around the caliper.
But the brakes should'nt be the only thing your worrying about, if you want to give full protecting on your whole machine spray the silicon on EVERYTHING. What it does is it puts a protective layer on what your spraying it on, this will prevent rust, stop lines from cracking, make plastic more resistent to brakage, and protect the more important piece of your machine the electrics.
For a couple bucks a can its the best protection you can buy.

Carry along a bottle of Heet or similar gas line anti-freeze, it works OK & is cheap. It also helps to drag the brakes a little every now and again.
