Hello,To anyone who has purchased a Chinese Komoto Quad,
When i first received this quad,It started right up,I rode it several times in my yard and it ran good
I took it to the local pits and got to ride it for about 7-10 minutes and it stalled .Could not get it started again so i ended up pushing it back to my vehicle.
I was very upset about this.
After that had happened i came home and went on line to this atv Forum,Glad i did.
I printed an article that 2manytoys had posted about the Chinese quad Carburators.
I followed the directions and now my quad was running great. Many thanx to 2manytoys.
After i got it idling nicely it started to cut out on me and stall, So i checked to see if it was getting spark,After checking, there was no spark,This was due to a loose wire pluged into the Ignition coil. After i fixed that the quad would run , but then quit.
So i wiggled some wires around under the left side panel where the fuel petcock is located ,Quad started right up and stayed running nicely.
Took it for a test ride and then the rear disc brake locked up on me,This was due to not adjusting the height of the rear brake pedal,Has to be adjusted!
After doing that ,Everything seemed to be fine.
I went riding the next day and everything was great until quad started to bog down,No power. I stalled and could not get it started so i remembered the wiring problem.Come to find out the Main wiring connector was not completely snapped in.Ever since that i,ve been happily riding,NO more problems so far.
I hope this will help anyone having same problems.Should i have any other problems i will post them.
