Scoot, are you in the building with the triangular tower across from the small park with the white gazeebo looking thing? Looks like triangles are a theme...

Yep. And coming from a square building, it gets confusing as hell. The way it's laid out, you don't notice it from the inside. But if I send someone down either hall, they end up at the same place.

And Nat's car needs some new tires too[IMG][/IMG]
Luckily I will be able to move along this KFX pretty easy since I got it so cheap, that will take care of a lot of odds and ends I been needing.</end quote></div>

I did get a pm from C.
He said the gym is keeping them extremely busy, and he was hoping to get some time to post soon.
Hope he hasn't worn the tires out.

Current gas Prices and my minimal driving i will be looking at a fuel bill of 450-500 a month. and thats the least i can drive. and thats not counting the fuel for the boat. wich will be about 400 a month aswell.</end quote></div>
I heard today was supposed to be some "don't get gas day" or something like that.
Fock them, one day ain't gonna make a difference cause you just buy it on another day anyway. Gonna fill up today, and if anyone asks, I'm gonna tell em I filled up cause the line was shorter today.
Geez, a guy has to get to work, don't he?</end quote></div>
These whole "don't buy gas on X day" is dumb. It screws up the supply chain as it is and causes prices to increase as the surge in purchases before and after the fact.
The only way to effectively do things in the long term is being more efficient. Properly tuned, maintained cars, properly filled tires (possibly an extra psi of air, but not exceeding the max.) etc. will be the only way. A big thing they run commercials around here is "trip linking." Make one trip for all of your errands and do it in a methodical way. Don't idle your vehicle for more than 30secs to a minute (not at a stop light, but like a drive thru.)
Take a que from UPS. Set up your route so you make right turns. They saved a TON of fuel just by rebuilding their routes to eliminate left turns when possible.
Biggest thing, drive the speed limit. Yeah, it sucks, but your pocket book will help you. Wind resistance squares with the double of speed, IIRC. If you drive a pickup CLOSE the tailgate. Get a bed cover or shell if you can (Think we discussed this a while back). Cruise control, yadda yadda yadda. I always watch the traffic at the next light and coast when I can.
Sure am seeing a lot of MCs for sale lately. People must be upgrading or throwing in the towel on riding (weather is getting hot.)

Wonder how much fuel NASCAR would save if they did that?
