That has to suck man, being pinned under your machine for that long. Glad to hear that he made it out alive.

 

I found a dirt biker with a bike on top of him once out in the hills behind my house. It was getting dark, and as I passed a canyon mouth I heard someone yelling. He had tried to do a hillclimb (the hillclimbs around here are wicked!), and had wheelied the bike out from under him. As he slid down the hill the bike landed on his leg, and he was in a position where he just couldn't get the leverage to get it off. He had tried to dig out underneath his leg, but it was real hard hardpack. His leg was badly burned from the exhaust as well.

 

Although they say you shouldn't ride alone, having a wierd work schedule myself I understand that sometimes circumstances make it so that you could never ride, mountain bike, or do much of anything if you didn't go alone sometimes.

Still, it pays to have someone who knows where you are and when you will be back.

Anyway, glad the guy made it.
