This is just a question. Do u guys buy the wife a quad because u really want ...2 quads? And usually hers is your ...2nd choice! what nice guys u are! Making sure your wife has the quad of ...your choice! I am sure that is the case 95% of the time! hehe! oh.....you need a sports machine and a workhorse 4X4! That way u get the best of both worlds! just something i have been noticing here! heheheheheheheheheheheheheh!

Neither are the case. She saw that I was riding almost every weekend and SHE wanted to buy one so she could come with me.

girlatvr2,

yeah....so.....your point is?..........

I have 3 one for me, one for my wife and one for my kid......I probably would have had more kids if I would have known that I could have had more ATVs.

Now what on earth would my husband do with 2 400ex's???? Especially with his being bored to a 440??
Seriously...when we bought MY quad...I chose the make and model BOTH times. First time, I bought 300ex and then moved up to a 400ex. Yep..did make him happy to have 2 400's!!!!

Actually, my wife rode them all, then chose what she liked. I have to say, though, that this is the same woman that drives a 2000 GMC 2500 Sierra Extended Cab SLT. What a woman .

This is my wife`s first quad got her something esy to learn on and ride at first. Now when it comes time for her to move up that may be a different story. Also I did pick it for her.

It also doubles as a machine for "guy" friends as well. I don`t think she would let me take "girl" friends riding with it.

girl

I am half guilty. When I bought the wife's trail boss, I really wanted a Scramber, but I knew she could not handle that much power (she is new to riding). I will admit I am guilty of riding her atv quite a bit. It is a fun atv to ride even though its a little underpowered for me. We may ride this weekend and I will probably take her atv as I don't feel like taking the snowplow and weightbox off the Magnum. If I could only convince people that it was not my fault that her machine has a big dent on the front bumper. Must have been her fault, somehow!

I let my wife pick out what she wanted. She went with the Recon, it fit her the best. She test drove Polaris, Yamaha, & Kawasaki as well. Now her skills have improved & she is ready to move up to my Rancher. I don't mind spending the money because my wife enjoys the sport. Its nice to always have a riding partner.
