You guys are great! it is more fun riding with your family! i am glad to see alot of families/woman riding with you guys! Thanx for the replies.

 

Isn't this what ATVing is all about?? I love riding with the family and friends. Heck, I would even give up racing if my wife would get more involved and go riding atleast once a month.

 

In the good weather i ride daily, at least an hour, i get de-stressed from the day that way! on the weekends i go out longer, i can't get enough! my daughter is 9 years old, i wish i could get her one but i am afraid she will get hurt on the technical stuff.

 

It's always up to the parent to decide when their children are ready. But, The racing classes start at 4 years old. It's always fun to see them go. some wreck and get right back up and do it some more. I have three girls 6,5,1. I have started mine out at 5 years old. They are learning really fast. the mini quads are great because they have a throttle limiter that you can set how fast they can go. Most 9 and 10 year olds I see racing are taking a set of doubles!!! NO JOKE!!!
The one thing I did was buy the full racing gear including knee/shin guards, and elbow pads. I think this really helps.
Good luck and again the readiness is between the children and the parents. I don't push mine but I always extend the invitation.
