Gas GONNA HIT $ A GALLON?
#1
How high do you think it'll go? I use a full service station right down the road a bit for our work trucks and diesel is already $4.70 and he said it's going to $5. Gas is ONLY $3.79 a gallon. But Hey.....At least they pump it for me

Self serve is only (only?) 3.19 here. I'm sure it will go up since it's spring break.
Heck, at these prices they should treat us like a governor. Every 9th fill up and they...well you know.

Here in Central Calif. Self serve... Diesel about $4.00...Regular around $3.40 a gal. 100 octane Race Gas from the 76 station about $6.25 a gal. Seems like a bargain now.
I cant remember the last time I saw a full serv station in Ca.

I think it's defined by law down here this way.
Service station - may or may not have the window squeegee things.
Self service station - has the squeegees, but not necessarily any water.
Full service station - has the squeegees, they aren't falling apart, and they just may be enough cleaner in the tub to make the water look blue.

here in southern oklahoma regular gas is 3.17, regular diesel is 3.70, and even off road diesel is 3.40 . but i really dont expect for regular gas to reach above 3.50. i do know that i have cut way back on unnesserary trips. our family goes gro. shopping every other week just to save a lil on the fuel. these fuel prices are getting way out of hand, if fixin to invest me in a real good horse.......................shea.................. ......

gas 3.09. diesel 3.75-3.85. time to get the good ole trusty bicycle out! they can give us any reason for prices to rise, but its all bull $#!t. we have more than enough oil in our country and there is plenty in other countries as well. 20 years ago they said there was a shortage but here we are more people and more cars with still enough oil,and they are still finding more. as for the diesel engines, the fuel should always be lower than gas simply the fact its cheaper to make. seriously, pick a plant, sun flowers,corn,peanuts,ect... even pond scum, pond scum! 50% of pond scum is an oil. i mean come on dig a hole let it fill with water and let it grow. no work or money to buy anything. all have been proven to be a deisel type fuel. even old dash boards in old wrecked cars can be turned into diesel, tires, all kinds of things. but they wont, our gov. says we are highly in dept but would rather us go further into debt. that makes sense! sorry for the venting.

Eventually, oil will go down because nobody will be able to pay for it, so the oil companies will have to reduce prices to stay in buisiness. I strongly feel that before it does go down (or at least stop climbing) that it will hit $5 to $6 per gallon. The worst thing about the rising fuel costs is that since nearly every consumer product that exists is both produced and shipped through processes that require fuel. This means that everything from capt'n crunch to hand guns is going to go up in price dramatically.

Once the war ends it will go down too.......well maybe I should say if the war ever ends it will go down....
Energy always costs more during a war. And this one is dragging down the economy a lot. Plus the oil companies have made so much they have no excuse not to scale production to meet demand and keep the prices reasonable.....
It may never go below $3 again but at least it should go close to that again and stay there for a while...
