It will never level off. It's going to keep climbing, maybe not at such a pace like it has in the bush era but, it will keep going up. Problem is that we have reached our peak production but usage keeps rising. India and china is industrializing at a rate that American hasn't seen since the 1800's.
At this point we just need to find alternative energy sources where we can. My YFZ not being one of them.

Eventually, oil will go down because nobody will be able to pay for it, so the oil companies will have to reduce prices to stay in buisiness. </end quote></div>
That is true but, the point at which that would take place would be what? $600 $700 dollars a barrel. Gas at $25 $30 a gallon? Thing is with the lack of public transportation in America people must pay for gas.
That is why an alternative source must be found. A competitor to the dependency on oil. Only then will prices go down.
<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>
The worst thing about the rising fuel costs is that since nearly every consumer product that exists is both produced and shipped through processes that require fuel. This means that everything from capt'n crunch to hand guns is going to go up in price dramatically.</end quote></div>
Yup, food riots have been all over the media.

Ya, Lindsey Williams. I don't think I'll get my info from a Baptist Minister who supposedly got to see privileged information in 1974. I noticed on his website he was on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. Now I love Coast to Coast but, come on.
I know there has been this discussions on this a decade but, the facts are that first oil demand is rising exponentially, and price is rising exponentially. There is a problem somewhere.
